At Fingle Bridge there is Anglers Rest pub serving lunch and evening menus, and just a mile or so up the road is the village of Drewsteignton, where you could have a pub lunch or evening meal at the 17th century Drewe Arms, also the Old Thatch at Cheriton Bishop is superb. | ||

There is also the historic Drogo castle the last granite castle to be built in England for Julius Drewe between 1910 and 1930, with beautifully kept gardens, now a National Trust property, and is open to the public from March to November (call for details). |
